Bag dust removal machine

Here are some key features and functions of a bag dust removal machine:

Filtering Mechanism: A baghouse utilizes a network of fabric filter bags as the primary filtering medium. The bags are made of woven or felted materials, typically made of synthetic fibers or glass fibers, which have a high dust-holding capacity. The gas stream containing dust particles passes through the fabric filter bags, and the dust particles are captured on the surface or within the porous structure of the bags.

Bag Configuration: The fabric filter bags are typically cylindrical or envelope-shaped and suspended vertically or horizontally within the baghouse. The bags are housed in compartments or chambers, and the gas stream flows through these compartments, allowing the dust-laden air to interact with the filter bags.

Pulse Jet Cleaning: Over time, the dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bags, reducing their efficiency. To maintain the performance of the baghouse, a cleaning mechanism is employed. The most common method is pulse jet cleaning, where compressed air or gas is periodically released through nozzles or venturis into the bag to create a reverse airflow. This pulse of air causes the filter bags to flex and dislodge the accumulated dust, which then falls into a hopper for disposal.

Collection and Disposal: The dust particles dislodged from the filter bags are collected in a hopper located beneath the bags. The collected dust can be further processed or disposed of as per environmental regulations. The collected gas stream, now free of most of the particulate matter, exits the baghouse through an outlet.

The working principle of the bag dust collector is that the dust-laden airflow enters the cylindrical filter bag from the lower orifice plate. When passing through the pores of the filter material, the dust is collected on the filter material, and the clean gas that penetrates the filter material is discharged from the discharge port. The dust deposited on the filter material can fall off the surface of the filter material under the action of mechanical vibration and fall into the ash hopper. Bag dust collectors have been widely used in various industrial sectors a long time ago to capture non-adhesive, non-fibrous industrial dust and volatile matter, capturing dust particles up to 0.1 micron. However, when using it to handle gases containing water vapor, condensation problems should be avoided. The bag dust collector has a very high purification efficiency. Even the efficiency of collecting fine dust can reach more than 99%, and its efficiency ratio is high. It has a simpler structure, lower investment, and stable operation than an electrostatic precipitator, and can recover high-resistivity dust; compared with a Venturi scrubber, it consumes less power, and the recovered dry particles are easy to comprehensively utilize. For fine dry particles, it is appropriate to use a bag dust collector to capture them. The disadvantages of belt dust collectors are low filtration speed, generally large size, large steel consumption, poor filter bag material, short life, large pressure loss, and high operating costs.
